"The Return of Talk" explores the relationship of leadership and representation among Palestinians, notably Palestinian refugees worldwide. Giving both historical context and debate over future strategy the film is a comprehensive look at the meaning of political leadership for a people facing exile, occupation and ongoing dispossession. Given the importance of the 60th anniversary of the dispossession of Palestine in 1948, this film is a timely documentation, combing grassroots, activist and elite perspectives on the history and strategy of the Palestinian national movement.

Great post, Glen, thanks for sharing.I think
the ultimate policy we have is the constitution
(or the Grundgesetz in Germany). It regulates
some of the very basics, where its creators
accepted that our psychology is messed up.Like
the influence of the military: Without proper
regulation, there is always someone saying
“this is a crisis, only the military can
help here”, defering the pain of having the
military involved in something the police is
responsible for.
